Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake

My mom gets credit for this one...it's amazing!

¼ pound butter (1 stick)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon baking powder

Mix this batter until it is blended

Combine the topping in another bowl:
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup nuts
2 teaspoon cinnamon

Pour half of the batter into greased tube pan. (Bundt pan or similar)  Sprinkle half of the topping, then add the rest of batter.  Sprinkle on the rest of the topping, and swirl the whole mess by cutting knife back and forth in an S-pattern through batter. (Not too much.)

Bake for 40 minutes at 350.
